WPSD produces several publications that contain a wide variety of information about the school. The Western Pennsylvanian is a newsletter that is a source of communication with parents, alumni, teachers, and friends of WPSD and other schools for the deaf. The publications are available to all who request copies.

The Learning Center staff publishes a newsletter about the activities that occur in this area. Descriptions of activities and presentations are centered around the various themes throughout the year. The newsletter also features photos of students and staff who participate in the scheduled activities.

Brochures about the school and its academic and residential programs are also available upon request. In addition to these publications the school produces an Annual Report that describes the previous year’s accomplishments as well as pertinent data and financial information about WPSD.
