Hello -
The 140th Anniversary and Homecoming Weekend was a big success. Friends and alumni enjoyed visiting with each other and touring the campus to see the many changes to the school. Everyone enjoyed seeing Helen Craig and her family at the dedication of 'William Craig Way' - the street in front of the Children's Village.
Watching the friendly competition between the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf & the WPSD Lions was a lot of fun. WPSD's Lady Lions won both volleyball matches while the boys' soccer teams won one game each. Saturday night's dinner was a big success with over 275 people attending. Thanks to WPSD alumni, Mary Lou Novitsky, Dr. Harry Lang, Dr. Nathie Marbury and Stephen Rute for putting on a great program.
Don't forget that the Fall-In Auction and Gala is coming up on November 7th at the John Heinz History Center. Proceeds from the gala benefit enrichment programs for the students.
