On #GivingTuesday, please consider a gift to WPSD.
In this season of giving, we take time to remember the blessings we enjoy in life and those who have invested in our lives. #GivingTuesday is a day carved out to provide us an opportunity to give back to those in our community.
We have all been blessed by others and, on this day, we have an opportunity to be a blessing. Please consider a gift to one of our programs – WPSD, The Scranton School, or Choices for Children – that are uniquely tailored to serve Deaf and Hard of Hearing children.
Every gift makes a difference. Click DONATE TODAY to give securely online. We deeply appreciate your consideration and support.
May this season be a time of joy and blessing to you and your loved ones.

WPSD’s Varsity Soccer and Volleyball teams are ESDAA Champions three years straight!
The soccer and volleyball teams at WPSD were recently recognized for their extraordinary achievements in their respective ESDAA tournaments at a school wide pep rally. For the first time in School history, both teams have earned championship titles in their respective sport for three straight years. Amazing! The whole school joined together to celebrate the accomplishment and success of each team. Both are three-peat wonders! Will next year be a continuation of this historic streak? Stay tuned!

Special Announcement by Dr. Farmer regarding the tragedy this morning in Squirrel Hill.
There was a mass shooting at Tree of Life Synagogue in Squirrel Hill this morning (Saturday, October 27, 2018). Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, first responders, and their families.
At no time was WPSD in danger during this event. We will continue to monitor the situation and as always, our security is on high alert. We have counselors on staff for anyone affected by this tragedy, upon their return from the weekend.
