18th Annual Eastern Middle School Basketball Tournament at WPSD on 3/1 & 3/2

Welcome to the 18th Annual Eastern Middle School Basketball tournament at the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf!  We are delighted to have you as our guests!

Young student-athletes are fun to watch. They don’t realize that skills taught in the classroom are utilized and incorporated in sports: math skills, eye-hand coordination, hand-foot coordination, strategic thinking, and the list goes on.

During this event, we will see lively  competition, witness friendships develop and grow, and experience the thrill of victory and the pain of defeat.  Regardless of wins or losses, sportsmanship and friendships will be what these children will treasure the most from this event.
